North Carolina based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Midnight Lands has delivered an album set to Destroy The World with pure, unadulterated, unfiltered, rock and roll.
Well…except for the more ballad-esque jams. I don’t really see them as world destroyers. However, part of the soundtrack as the remnants of said destruction are made whole again through tear-jerking anthems behind a montage of heart warming imagery….? I could definitely see that!
Midnight Lands is the talented, rock and roll loving, project of Ben Averch. Ben: wrote the songs, played the instruments, produced, and engineered the entire album. It was recorded at The Workshop in Chapel Hill.
Soaring guitar solos, in -your-face rhythms, arena-sized sounds, cosmically infused vocals and a wide range of rock styles collide on Destroy The World for a sonic voyage through heavy, alternative, progressive, sometimes folk-esque, some punk-infused but 1000% RAWK soundscapes.
