Midwest Soul Xchange have arrived with a special treat in the form of their Prog-Roots Americana infused album, New American Century.

Troubadours Nate Cherrier and Ryan Summers have been friends for nearly twenty years but it wasn’t until recently the two sonic beings aligned to create something refreshing, eclectic, and pleasing to the senses.

Even though the duo grew up in Wisconsin, Nate was in Phoenix during the recording of this entire album adding new layers of meaning to the name Midwest Soul Xchange. Nate contributed his signature style of percussion and rhythms while Ryan sprinkled in synthesizers, added lead guitar, and served as producer and engineer for the 11-track opus.
