Mike Comfort Releases Rockin’ Compilation, Pretty Sweet Stuff

Mike Comfort

Chico, California’s Mike Comfort is by far one of the greatest rock/pop/alternative songwriters you have yet to hear.

Hell, I’ve been in Sacramento since 2013 and this is the first time I’ve heard Mike’s music. I LOVE it!!!

Reminiscent of the great alt-rock bands of the 90s, Mike’s newest compilation release, Pretty Sweet Stuff, is a collection of 20 songs (yes 20 awesome singles!!!) that represent his more pop-oriented, sensual side. And these jams RAWK!

With over 15 years of music making and 6 full album releases under his belt, Mike Comfort is one of the most successful musicians you haven’t heard of yet.

Well known in Northern California, his band has managed to sell over 10,000 CDs during an age when everyone is scrambling to get your Spotify streams to their latest single.

I should also mention Mike and his band were voted “Best Band In Sacramento” (Sacramento Radio Station Contest), best band In Northern California (107FM The Point Chico) and nominated for Best New Artist (New Music Weekly In Los Angeles).

I’m left scratching my head wondering how I’ve been in Sactown for 3 years and just now finding these guys… Better late than never!

Being one of the last indie musos to set up an FB page or distro his music on iTunes, Mike is now online and infecting the interwebs with his tasty, rockin’ jams.

Stream Pretty Sweet Stuff on Soundcloud or head over to Mike’s website to show your support.

If you don’t mind I’m going to go back to rocking out to some Pretty Sweet Stuff.
