Missy & Chelsea Sing Their Hearts Out On Their Self-Titled Debut

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman November 17, 2012 3:28 pm Tagged With: Acoustic, Country, Pop

Missy and Chelsea

Although Missy & Chelsea are from Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, one might think they had a lot of help from Nashville on this one…or at least have been influenced by its songwriting.

Together these teenage sisters deliver an energetic, uplifting blend of pop, country, and acoustic-rock that will bring a smile to your face. You will be left vibing out to beautiful vocals and thoughtful lyrics.

Drawing influence from Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift and other leading ladies of the current generation, Missy & Chelsea have this to say about their music:

“We want people to be able to relate to our songs, to sing along, and to feel better listening to us on their ipods. We want everyone to see that there’s no reason to swear and talk about sex and smoking and drinking for a song to be classified as a “good” song.”

They are staying busy.

The team is working to open for national headliners swinging through Michigan next summer. They are revvin’ up to record a new album. And they were recently ranked in the Top 500 Singer/Songwriters nationally on ReverbNation.

The ladies also have a couple of national music competition titles under their belts.

You can connect with them on Facebook or ReverbNation.
