Fast Radio Bursts Captures The Pure, Alluring Energy of Moe Green’s Eye

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman October 12, 2017 11:20 am Tagged With: 80s rock, classic rock, New York City, Rock, United States

Moe Greens Eye-Radio Bursts (Live)

Despite only playing live for several months, NYC based rockers Moe Green’s Eye are quickly gaining traction with venues and booking agents around New York and New Jersey simply based on the raw energy this group of talented creatives emanate during their performances.

Consisting of chief songwriter and guitarist Steve Siegel, front man Anthony Galati, bassist Jeff Mackey and drummer Bob Gallagher, this crew fuses classic rock with ’80s new wave for an energetic, highly appealing, quite alluring soundscape.

Fast Radio Bursts is an infectious, powerful, and well crafted EP which captures the band’s energy and unleashes it on our senses in a format we can consume anytime.

Fixed opens up the EP with hard hitting, big sounding drums, lush and impactful melodies, and plenty of pop appeal to prepare us for the wall of sound that is to come on the succeeding tracks.

Stay continues delivering that arena sized sound and will have you up on your feet, air guitar in hand, bouncing and jamming along as we journey through awesomesauce guitar tones, contagious melodies, and a memorable and very catchy hook.

It’s Over Now keeps the energy moving despite a slightly more mellow vibe. However, the well produced wall of sound continues impacting our senses through another burst of soulful vocals, sweet guitar tones, distinctly catchy melody and excellent sounding drums.

What About Time kicks off with kick ass guitar work and fast paced hi-hats that quickly move into a more relaxed soundscape continuing the theme of enticing melodies, large drums, powerful vocals and wrapping up a solid, cohesive EP which hits you like bursts of adrenaline.

Despite the ’70s and ’80s rock and new wave influences, the sound that is unleashed by Moe Green’s Eye never gets old.

Fast Radio Bursts can be jammed below or on Soundcloud.
