Morrow’s Memory has returned with a stunning new record, Take Control, which will be available July 23rd, 2016.

Take Control consists of five well-crafted, finely polished, hard rockin’, foot stompin’, head bangin’ worthy songs that will pack a punch right into your sternum sending a flood of chemicals through your adrenal system until you can’t help but to jump off your ass and start playing along with your favorite air instrument of choice.

Bloodlust knocks you right in the face with a sonic force strong enough to cause a frequency typhoon.

For You mellows out the soundscape for a ride through more sincere vocals, clean and bright guitars, but the same thick, juicy drums that makes hard rock music…HARD RAWK!!! Weaving in and out of melodic vox lines and anger infused gruffiness, this is a song dedicated to a certain “you”. You probably know which one 😉

Find Your Own Way picks up the pace with a hard, distorted intro but soon mellows out as the switch to clean guitar rhythms sets the mood for some soulful, power-singing that keeps reminding me of the strength of 1990s rockers Creed but with a much more appealing voice in the lead. Finding our way through an impactful, catchy hook and an uber-sweet wailing guitar solo, we find ourselves at a breaking point with pounding drums, clean guitars and howling, engaging vocals which penetrate to the depths of your sensory systems.

Moving forward into the gentle guitar picking of Sapphire, the band shows their more intimate, sensitive side bringing back memories of Staind when frontman Aaron Lewis went solo acoustic. This song really displays Morrow’s Memory’s ability to be versatile in their songwriting, their ability to appeal to a more pop-sensitive audience, and the real depths of their collective talents.

Sapphire is an epic, strong aural force with a very soft side. The ending bars are worthy of an arena-sized audience with lighters in the air, waving side-to-side, floating away with the music.

Ones and Zeros picks up the pace with a sonic wall of distorted and clean guitars weaving their way through of dense fog of powerful drums and the engaging, piercing power of the lead vocals. Wading through a storm of beautifully designed rain drops, Morrow’s Memory have proven they can deliver consistent hard rockin’, in your face, delectably delicious jams which have the power to appeal to a wide range of music listeners.
