It’s pretty crazy thinking about how fast 2016 flew by and it’s really sad to think back on all the legendary music makers who left this dimension during the last 12 months.

As the year comes to a close, I want to use this space to reflect back on our most popular music features of this year.

[Tweet “Which bands made our top 20 list? @theforeignfilms @sonandthief @jennbostic @tjlcountry @greenchildren and more!”]

This list is based on our website traffic data and includes the most visited (aka most popular) music feature articles over the last 12 months.

I have considered the fact that articles published in January have had 11 more months to accumulate views against articles published in November so I also factored this into the equation by taking into account social media activity and giving brownie points to the artists who were actively promoting and tagging us when they shared their features.

Regardless, the below list is a great overview of the last 12 months of music shared through our network. Enjoy and keep on rockin’ hard into 2017!!

Also note, this list is not in order of most visited to least visited. I just chose the 20 most popular articles and have included links to each 🙂
