Time For Some Refreshing Mountain Air with Uplifting, Feel-Good Rockers hooyoosay

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman June 12, 2017 9:54 am Tagged With: Pop, Reggae, Rock, surf rock, synth

hooyoosay-Mountain Air EP

hooyoosay creates infectious, uplifting, feel-good music that can be enjoyed by music listeners far and wide. I immediately became a fan (a while back) after hearing their single Palm Tree In My Garden.

Their unique blend of feel-good pop, tasty synth riffs, surf rock and reggae vibes collide with the refreshing, soul-renewing atmosphere of the crisp and clear Mountain Air on the band’s newest EP.

If you missed our recent interview with this unforgettable crew of musical talent, you can find that here. We discuss the new project, influences and more.

Mountain Air opens up with an injection of energy and fun vibes with a song of the same name. You will be overwhelmed with a desire to leave the city behind and go run freely through open fields and challenging trails.

My Lucky Dreamy Day sounds exactly like you would expect your lucky, dreamy day to be. Opening with some country-influenced guitar riffage, the song takes us on an instrumental experience as we continue our journey further down the mountain trail.

By the time we reach the fork in the path, it’s time for a rest and a moment to enjoy a song in celebration of knowing we have Done Our Best. Precise and engaging vocal harmonies, danceable rhythms, and infectious melodies come together for an uplifting, guaranteed-to-make-you-feel-good sonic experience.

As our stroll through the mountains comes to a close, hooyoosay takes us back to the jammin’ sound bed of Mountain Air but as an instrumental voyage of highly enjoyable music. Mountain View is the ultimate icing on this beautiful cake of sonic awesomesauce.

Anytime you need a lift, a boost, or simply a mood changer, Mountain Air by hooyoosay is your go to record!

Grab your copy of Mountain Air from Bandcamp.

Be sure to check out our previous interview to hear about this project from the music masters themselves.
