Bio

Hailing from Huntington Station, NY, Jimmie Garrett Jr. better known by his stage name Jimmi3 Bon3s or Jay Bones, began his pursuit of a musical career at the age of 13. While coming across a Tupac CD, he was instantly taken with the poetic lyrics and socially conscious themes prevalent in his work. For the past nine years, he has been rapping and producing on the Lord Gang Production Unit. The production credits include Red Man, Duitall (Lords of the Underground) and Chill Rob G. Bones has been deeply influenced by rappers Tupac, Big L, Ludacris, Rahkim, Young Jeezy and Wiz Khalifa. Production influences include Timbaland, Dr. Dre, Shawty Redd, Johnny Juliano and Kanye West. Jimmi3 Bon3s has completed an 8-city tour entitled “The Unsigned Explosion Tour” throughout the East Coast. Furthermore, he is a relative of the former road manager to Wu-Tang, EPMD and KC&JoJo and A&R Of Craig Mack.

Jimmi3 Bon3s possesses a style that is original and versatile. He has a keen ability to write and structure verses while delivering them flawlessly. His songs contain a wide array of subjects and he touches upon topics that resonate with listeners of diverse backgrounds. His music is the pinnacle of Hip Hop’s tradition; consisting of lyricism and ambition that is essential to the audience he aims to entertain. Jimmi3 Bon3s combines raw lyrics with swagger to produce his signature sound. He continues to mainstream his craft so be on the look out because he is the future of Hip Hop.
