Electro, synth, noir pop creative force no:carrier remain in a lane all their own.

Their new album Broken Rainbow: Ballads for an Apocalyptic World is more than just a collection of songs. It is a masterful display of visionary sonic talent rooted deep in the darker side and darker consequences of human behavior and our existence.

We are truly living in exciting, but also very strange and dangerous times,” explains songwriter Chris Wirsig. “All over the world there’s a move back towards a more cavemen-like, medieval behavior that I thought we had overcome more or less. More and more people seem to fall back into an archaic mental state, where dog-eat-dog is the norm and humanity is left to die, while we still make scientific and cultural progress, but – and I know this sounds a bit desolate – mankind doesn’t seem to be fit for the 21st century yet.”

-This isn’t no:carrier’s first time featured on MTM. Go here for our previous feature.

Creating a synth laden, haunting soundscape, no:carrier transport us to a world, that no matter how bleek it appears, maintains a glimmer of hope in the midst of destruction and collapse.

Their signature electro noir style infects itself deep into your senses as the tapestry of noises and sounds slowly culminate into a sonic novel of post-apocalyptic proportions.

The video for their powerful single Your Heroin is streaming on YouTube.

Broken Rainbow is currently streaming on Bandcamp, Amazon and Apple Music.
