From the misty swamps of the southeastern corner of North Carolina, comes a no holds barred hard rock group known as Open Wire.

Take everything you love about Zakk Wylde, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Black Sabbath, and Lynyrd Skynyrd and now you have an idea of what to expect when pressing play on their newest album Naked Dreams.

It all started with jam sessions between Dan Wuensch (guitar/triangle) and Phillip Milligan (drums). A bummed cigarette later, Matt Thies becomes the voice behind the band; then after 2 studios albums, a short tour, and several cases of beer – Open Wire forms (with Eric Leray on bass).

Open Wire is a fusion of styles and influences combining old style rock with a modern attitude. Rock and blues with a southern twinge keep these guys sounding fresh while providing that hard rock sound we all love.
