On February 1, 2012, Oreo Jones linked up with DJ Wallywonder to open for Detroit emcee XV’s Bloomington tour stop at the Bishop. In order to commemorate the night, bloggers Bloomington Backspin came out to shoot video of Oreo’s live performance. That footage has culminated in the video linked below, a well shot, edited, and recorded look at a young emcee’s live performance of his track “I Want Sum”. If you’ve never been to an Oreo Jones show, this video should help encourage to place at the top of your list of priorities.

2011 was a busy year for Indianapolis emcee Oreo Jones. In the past year, OJ has orchestrated an indie rock collab EP, dropped his highly successful single and video “Cordon Bleu”, collaborated with Action Jackson on their smash Black Fabio mixtape, and performed at several of the best indie shows in Nap. Spring 2012 is set to be just as busy for Oreo. Over the next few months, watch for music videos for “Black Fabio”, “Reggie Miller”, and more, big news regarding Let’s Do Lunch, a national tour with DMA, and Oreo’s long-awaited debut album.
