Wiz da Wildcard, a NYC artist, is preparing to release his album this month. In the video above, we gain some insight into the man known as Wiz as well as what to expect from the album.

Today, Tonight is the first single from the EP, “Overnight Sensation.” The song was inspired on a summer day in Queens, NY by one of the first beats played for Wiz by producer Taiwan Green (Green was formerly signed to Murder Inc. and produced Jah Rule’s hit, Holla Holla). The song’s lyrics paint a vivid and familiar picture of lost love and the lonely nostalgia that goes with it. The music video has been shot and will be released this fall.
