Although the one-man-band (aka Mauricio Flores Sánchez) originally wrote this jam in 2018 before a microscopic virus sent the planet into chaos, We Will Fight For Us is, in Mauricio’s words,

We will fight for Us” is a song about a collapsing system. The song is an invitation to another place, to start again from scratch, to break the walls of your fears and to be free, to cross the lines of our systems and our mental structures. The song is about many people that think in the same way, people who want to change the world, to create a new fair world and invites you to cross the line to make it. It’s an invitation to escape from your old system of beliefs to create a new reality.”

Playing guitar since age 15, Purple Tone Flower has mastered the art of Funk and song crafting while allowing his art to reflect his outlook on life. Preferring a back-to-basics approach, stripping back complexity, injecting a lot of soul backed by psychedelic guitars and laid-back grooves, Purple Tone Flower falls on the style spectrum somewhere between the pop appeal of John Mayer and the rock and roll aesthetic of Lenny Kravitz.
