Ques Bois Reviving A Lost Era With ‘Rhythms of the Universe’

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman September 3, 2011 3:30 pm Tagged With: Hip Hop, Spoken Word

Lets Quest CollectiveThe Ques Bois are a group of seven artists desperately trying to revive a lost era of consciousness in music.

What started as a multitude of varying individual projects including hip hop, jazz instrumental jams, visual art, and spoken word poetry, has now come together and re-emerged as a collective artistic movement promoting consciousness and a love of all people the world over.

The Ques Bois are comprised of two MC’s – Carter Chestnut and William Lackey, producer – Brenden Goodcuff, guitarist – Rick Hanson, drummer – Skyler Hall, the wise spoken word poet – Quentin Wise, and our visual artist – Nathan West.

Click play below to hear their first single ‘Microphone Controller’. It is a song that shows the spurratic, feel good vibe of the Ques Bois in and outside of the studio; on and off the stage.
