Resilient-How To Peach

Philly based, femme driven fizzylifting grungepop rockers Resilient deliver catchy, fist pumping, emotion evoking, honest music with How To Peach.

As much discovery and exploration as it is release and therapy, Resilient‘s music is a passionate portrayal of a group of women bonded by testing life experiences. The fact that the band’s formation was accidental is a declaration by universal energies that some things are just meant to be.

How To Peach is their newest album and it is an album of deliberately delicious grunge punk guitar tones, riveting riffage, charmingly gritty licks, and motivating, soul-infused vocal performances.

Crickets kicks off the album with a wall of grunged out guitar progressions sprinkled with memorable, catchy sonic nuance.

Ceiling features beautiful, clean guitar chords and an enchanting lead vocal.

Broke It As Soon As I Got It unleashes a tantrum of melodic yet angry progressions and transitions.

From An Eruption evokes strong emotion with a seamless blend of sweet softness and in-your-face aggression.

Medication takes a catchy guitar riff with a hypnotic hook and turns it into a strong pop punk single about searching for something just right, something I like. Beware the side effects.

Comin Yer Way attacks the senses with more of that signature Resilient riffage, a more mellow vocal performance, and enough groove to have you nodding your head and rocking your body through the entire song.

The Duchess Act slows it down with sweet, clean guitars backed by hard hitting drums and a building energy that lifts you up, gently lays you back down and then repeats the process for the entire sonic journey.

Green is another one that is slower and sweeter. Passionate lead vocals guide us through a tapestry of distorted but melodious and emotional progressions woven seamlessly into an enchanting listening experience.

Slack infuses gritty blues into their signature grungepop vibes for a slow grooving, deliciously distorted, well crafted jam. The transitions, the excellent ending, and the contagious tones make this one of my favorite tracks on the album.

How To Preach closes out this stimulating and adrenaline pumping experience with profound lyrics backed by head nodding rhythm, more of those infectious and passionate lead vocals, and enough attitude and spunk to get the message across. This is another favorite of mine.

How To Peach is available on Bandcamp.
