Roberta & Ricardo are a talented musical force consisting of Italian-born singer/songwriter Roberta De Francia (vocals, guitar, music, lyrics) and Spanish native musician/composer Ricardo Ruiz (saxophone, production, arrangements).

Currently in Thailand, where they recorded their new holiday single, Roberta & Ricardo have created an infectious, uplifting song that celebrates (and reminds us all to celebrate) the true spirit of the Christmas season.

The song is about trying to celebrate Christmas in a positive way, in any part of the world, on the beach or on the snow, any religion or belief, because Christmas has become a way of celebrating family and friends, even for people who don’t have faith. It is a song of hope for humanity, an inspiration to make the world a better place.”

Known in my family as the “bah humbug” of the holidays, music like this makes me smile and gives me hope that more people see Christmas for much more than religion, gifts, presents, and stuffing yourself into a food coma.
