Rumman by Daniel Grin and the Dandy Løve Band (review)

Rumman by Daniel Grin and the Dandy Love Band

Passion and Power set against an amazing soundscape is what you get from Daniel Grin and the Dandy Løve Band on their new Rumman EP.

I hear Irish folk music spending a night in the desert with Nick Cave. I hear Radiohead – a little brighter. I hear Coldplay, but I like it – a lot more. I hear everything I loved about rock music growing up only this is fresh! My ears are excited.

Mr. Grin is one of hell of a songwriter and the Dandy Løve Band play those instruments damn well. They have my respect.

These 5 songs take you on a roller coaster ride of passionate emotions and powerful soundscapes. One minute you are enjoying the sound of the wind and the slap of the ocean waves…at about the point you begin to close your eyes and drift away; the Dandy Love Band explodes and you find yourself riding the crest of the most bodacious wave of your dreams.

Bottom line, this music is powerful. The production is some of the best I have heard in a while. The clarity and crispness of these mixes is something I aim for in my own. Major Kudos to the production team and the engineer(s). Major Kudos to Daniel Grin and the Dandy Løve Band.

This is music you need to support: grab your copy of the Rumman EP
