I have to pinpoint exactly what it is about this song that grabbed me so hard. Maybe the minimalist approach. Maybe it’s R.W.’s authentic and genuine expressions. Maybe it’s the subject matter and the fact I stand beside R.W. on this issue. Whatever it is, there is no denying that Roldan knows how to craft a potent, profound song using the bare essentials and a minimalist approach.

Soothing but bluesy harmonica, somber fiddle lines and passionate vocal harmonies combine for a heartfelt, emotion-stirring single that is as timeless as it is perfect for the current time.
