Fusing indie, pop, and rock with the hopes, dreams, and quiet frustrations of life lived on the Canadian Prairies, “Wait Around” feels like an open conversation with the self. It’s the fourth single from Faye’s forthcoming album, (Good) Love, which arrives September 26th, 2025.

“Wait Around” was inspired by navigating dating in early-to-mid thirties, and coming to terms with the fact that even profound love isn’t always enough to sustain a relationship headed in two different directions. As Faye puts it, the song is “a self-dialogue preaching patience and acceptance in the belief that good love is worth waiting for, as long as you’re honest with yourself and others.”

Sometimes you might share special connections and deep love with amazing people on completely different life paths. “Wait Around” is a song that reflects on appreciating, accepting, and mourning the end of those relationships.
