Like a breath of fresh air, alternative singer/songwriter Sebastian O made the conscious decision to focus on the method which allows the end goal freedom to arrive at it’s final state in a natural, raw way. Avoiding post-production and post-editing, Sebastian O‘s newest album, In Your Room, is a stunning collection of organic creations that captures expressions of the song crafter’s true self, in the moment, as streams of consciousness naturally flow.

After leading a progressive rock band during his youth, Sebastian O found himself detaching from written music in order to explore various approaches to improvisation. He soon began approaching songwriting as a way to capture undistorted expressions of his present self. Soon he was performing for audiences in Milan, Dublin, San Francisco and New York.

After connecting with bass player and producer Andrea Lombardini, the team entered the studio to capture the intimate, immediate, minimally powerful arrangements found throughout In Your Room. Sebastian O handled vocals and guitar while Lombardini played bass and drums.

Consider me a fan. All eleven tracks on In Your Room are engaging, organic, and unexpectedly well crafted despite their spontaneous and improvisational nature. It’s as if you are sitting in the studio with Sebastian and Andrea as they record each song.
