Silver Lake 66 Deliver A Nice Slice of Americana on New Album Let Go Or Be Dragged

Silver Lake 66

Portland, Oregon based Americana duo Silver Lake 66 have released their latest album Let Go Or Be Dragged, now available on Bandcamp.

Maria Francis and Jeff Overbo first started making music together during their time in Minneapolis. After moving to Southern California for a while, the duo found their way to Portland, Oregon where they found a small but vibrant community of roots music musicians and a place they could call home.

Their music having been on hold due to life and health complications, Jeff and Maria credit the scene in Portland for reigniting the fire which fueled jam sessions and live performances eventually leading to the creation of the new record, Let Go Or Be Dragged.

The album is a collection of classic, good ole fashioned Americana songs which tell the stories of life, love, loss, travel and adversity. The heart and soul infused into each track will grab you and leave you listening to the end.

Devil’s Looking For Me and San Francisco Angel are two of my personal favorites but each of these 12 songs will find a place in your big ole Americana heart!

Grab your copy of Let Go Or Be Dragged from Bandcamp.

You can connect with the band on their official website or on FB.
