nationalnew11_Former_Champions

Virginia electro rock band Former Champions has just embarked on a summer tour of the South-east, including a stop right in the heart of Middle Tennessee – Murfreesboro’s Main Street Live! While they were on the road to Louisville, KY (passing through my home state of West Virginia) I managed to get them on the […]

45trona Ut – Let’s get Funkspatial

45trona-Ut

45trona Ut came up on the radar a day or so back, through a good friend over at indiebandguru. Not exactly what I normally listen to, the record he sent over was Funkspatial by 45trona Ut – electro dance funkadelic space music that pushes the cosmic particles into new spheres. Tastes of DaftPunk are mixed with […]

A Chameleons Dream by Cata9tales

Cata9tales is from another planet. Since this is the first time I have seen the label hypercore in a genre description, allow me to illuminate. Cata9tales is what would happen if Beck drank insane amounts of coffee with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and decided to put out a hip hop album with the Beastie Boys. After featuring […]

As the collective attention span shrinks, Eddie Canyon finds himself searching for meaning within the noise. Reaching into and around his Arkansas roots, Eddie carves a distinctively southern Hip Hop undercurrent in his exploratory approach to music. Weaving tales of battling addiction, thoughts on spirituality, and irreverent social commentary into his lyrics, Eddie aims to intrigue his audience at the least, and at most, leave them with a liberating degree of thoughtfulness. In his own words: “The Matrix is real, but there’s a way out.” Support on Spotify or Bandcamp.
