Karlex has been referred to as the “Bob Marley of Haiti” due to his bold brand of ethno musicality. Growing up under a dictatorship didn’t leave young Karlex many options but to have fun. He […]

Change In Motion by Frank Roberts

Hamilton, Ontario songwriter/producer/engineer Frank Roberts is releasing his blend of instrumental rock packed full of powerful guitar melodies and tasty harmonies in which Satriani, Malmsteen, or Dream Theater would be glad to partake. Although I only have access to short samples of a few songs, it is evident that Roberts has poured his passion into […]

Serapicos Is A Town by Serapicos

Serapicos Is A Town, no…really. When Gabriel Serapicos took a trip through the tiny rural city of Serapicos, some of the blurry things suddenly became clear. “The town was creepy. It had a small church but not much else. This song [Serapicos Is A Town] represented where all the songs were situated; everything started to […]

Loving Love’s Well, Il Pozzo d’Amor

by C Bret Campbell August 23, 2012 9:20 pm Tagged With: Piano, World

Aaahhhh, piano and cello make a wonderful sound, together. If you put their combined sound through a finely calibrated analyzer, you can see that they fill the frequency spectrum in a unique way that seems to include a little bit of everything around the individual notes played. I swear there is something going on there […]

As the collective attention span shrinks, Eddie Canyon finds himself searching for meaning within the noise. Reaching into and around his Arkansas roots, Eddie carves a distinctively southern Hip Hop undercurrent in his exploratory approach to music. Weaving tales of battling addiction, thoughts on spirituality, and irreverent social commentary into his lyrics, Eddie aims to intrigue his audience at the least, and at most, leave them with a liberating degree of thoughtfulness. In his own words: “The Matrix is real, but there’s a way out.” Support on Spotify or Bandcamp.
