Bio

De’Andre Davis aka 2Four was born and raised in Nashville (Music City), Tn.  His love of music was developed early in his childhood as his father exposed him to various genres and artists.  Upon entering high school, he enrolled in the audio technology program.  This would develop his foundation for recording and studio techniques.  In 2009, his senior year, he was 1 of only 3 students to receive the Award of Academic Excellence in audio technology.

He also participated on the high school football team.  In 2009, the Burros of Hillsboro High School was crowned state champions.  The underdog Burros defeated Maryville High School and ended a five year, seventy plus game winning streak.  This monumental feat was even featured on ESPN.  2Four played an intricate part in winning the championship and parlayed his football success into an athletic scholarship at Bethel University.  There he hit a snag adjusting to a small town living and being away from the comforts of home.  It is here where his love of music would fester and begin to overtake him.  At the end of his freshman season, he decides to forgo football, go to school at home and focus on his music.

Now he attends MTSU.  He has begun to write everyday and start to develop his stage presence by performing in music showcases around town.  He is taking the first steps to creating and developing a musical brand that will be recognizable worldwide. Although his sound and delivery is similar to Lil Wayne, Drake, Ludacris, T.I. and Lupe Fiasco, he does not want to be pigeonholed or restricted by the boundaries that musical genres and labels provide. Thus, his music will encompass elements of multiple styles and genres. He looks forward to growing and expanding his musical taste and working with diverse and creative artists. His potential and talent is endless and the sky is the limit for this gifted 20 year old gifted lyricist.

The debut EP “Long Hair Don’t Care – The EP” is a preview and introduction of 2Four’s lyrical skill and showcase of his potential.  This EP is simply an appetizer as 2Four begins to build a foundation and develop and cultivate his fanbase. This EP only scratches the surface of his talent and ability.  “I invited you to share my journey of a thousand steps, taking one step at a time and arriving at destination SUCCESS!” – 2Four
