Ten Most Popular Indie Bands We Featured in 2014

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman December 28, 2014 9:11 am

The end of 2014 is near so what better time to reflect on all the great music we heard than in the present?

This list is based on traffic so these do not necessarily represent my personal favorites (that article is here) but they do show us who has the biggest online followings and/or who was shared the most.

  1. John Oates “Good Road To Follow” – more like Awesome
  2. Interview with Sister Helen – new album, touring, and more
  3. Download Worm – Mr. Souf 2 Death – Best of Cashville
  4. Wilf Turnbull & Derek Philpott – Correcting Popstars Since 2008
  5. Fred Cannon of Creative and Dreams – Chastity Brown
  6. Legendary – Who Remembers TQ?
  7. The Best Pink Floyd Tribute of 2013 (obviously popular in 2014)
  8. “Oh Sweet Lorraine” – A Letter From Fred
  9. The Serotones – Debut EP
  10. Interview with Brian Barnhouse

A few more just because I can do that…

  • (A)live from the Scrapheap with Christina Rubino
  • Billy D and the Hoodoos “Something Wrong” Is Good Voodoo
  • Markus Fox – American Hero – Shares Heart In Song
  • Totally Floored – Stunned I Say! Chastity Brown’s Long Way
  • Victory Music – Undiscover
