The Fire Inside David Sprague

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman March 27, 2013 2:47 pm Tagged With: Acoustic, Folk, indie, Rock

David Sprague It’s no coincidence that David Sprague titled his new album The Fire Inside.

David is a true lover of music. When he picks up a guitar and starts to sing, dammit you listen.

This young man and his instrument are a true expression of what happens when heart and soul speak through music.

With catchy melodies, a very engaging voice, and a fire burning deep inside David takes us on a journey of emotions and observations through 14 tracks.

I recently had the honor of speaking to him about his music and his life. Make sure you check out that interview.

I’ve listened to this album several times over the past week and each time David manages to catch my attention with a new lyric I did not notice before. Speaking of lyrics, these 14 songs are jam packed full of profound and heartfelt expressions.

Several times I found myself thinking I wish I had written that.

My favorite tracks include Enemy, Listen Up and The End. But each time I listen through I find myself liking different ones more and more.

This is the part where you go connect with him on Facebook or ReverbNation. More importantly show your support by sharing The Fire Inside.
