Bio

The Last Straw is a Nashville based rock and roll band that features:

  • Kyle Daniel – Vocals / Guitar
  • Jason Graumlich – Vocals / Guitar
  • Marc Williams – Bass / Vocals
  • Pearce Harrison – Drums / Percussion

Constant evolution in music is essential to the longevity of a band. Since 2007, The Last Straw has been a prime example of a band in the midst of this evolution. Without breaking stride, The Last Straw has man-handled creative efforts to put together their strongest lineup to date. Founding member and frontman, Kyle Daniel, states “Undoubtedly, this is the most artistic freedom I have ever felt. The unit itself has morphed into a melting pot of creative input, allowing the birth of a new version of us.”

Since the recent addition of Jason Graumlich, The Last Straw has taken songwriting and musical maturation to new heights. Known for their explosive live shows, the band continues to push the envelope with their original material. Veteran members Marc Williams and Pearce Harrison are the backbone of the unit, still delivering the unifying rhythmic pulse, signature to The Last Straw.

Residing as one of Nashville’s hottest unsigned acts, The Last Straw is currently recording material at Loud Studios for their Fall 2011 release, “This Is.” Producers Jake Burns and Johnny Zvolensky (“Johnny Z”), have been essential players in the band’s most recent evolution. Be on the lookout for these highway renegades coming to a city near you, as TLS 2.0 will be burning up the streets from Music City on.
