Tommy Edwards has been a mainstay in the Peoria, IL area for 15 years as the front-man for Bubblegum Jack, the premier party band. Over the last two years, THOMAS has been working with Nashville songwriter/musician Denny Smith to craft what is best described as “Keith Urban meets The Killers”.

“In the wake of crossover pop/country success, the basis of the project was to write great songs that make a connection to an audience. I set out to create something different, and in the process found myself in unfamiliar and uncomfortable territory.” says Thomas. On signing with HighVolMusic; “We just wanted to say that we are very excited and proud to be a part of the HighVolMusic family and look forward to seeing everyone at a show near you soon.”

What’s remained constant for THOMAS across years and genres is making that connection with the crowd. While he takes inspiration from many great vocalists, he no longer worries about showing off his operatic pipes, instead focusing on the organic tie between the lyrics and the story behind the music. The end result is 11 songs of strong memorable choruses, melodies, and hooks all wrapped up in ‘Absolution’. The album features a stellar performance by guitarist Gary Richrath (REO Speedwagon) who performed on the track ‘One More Day’ before his passing.

The band THOMAS is comprised of Tommy Edwards – Vocals, George Herbst – Key/Vocals, John Massaglia – Bass/Vocals, Jeffry Logsdon – Guitar/Banjo, Eric Barley – Guitar/Vocal, Chano Rodriguez – Drums.

HighVolMusic owner Bill Chavis is thrilled and honored to be working with Thomas. He calls the singer and songwriter personable and genuine, one of the best unknowns in the business who certainly is deserving of attention.
