Finnish singer/songwriter Timi Tamminen has released the downtempo, hypnotic lead single, The Ballad of a Keg Heart, from his latest album Timi Alexander LP.

Inspired by alternative rock, Hip Hop production and infectious downtempo grooves, The Ballad of a Keg Heart is a lonely soundscape that slowly builds from a simplistic but beautiful piano into a distorted texture of atmospheric sounds. Sprinkles of hard hitting but sparse drums toward the end of the song acts as the climatic ending to a hauntingly trance-like song that slowly seeps into your sensory system.

The visual treatment (also by Timi) further brings to life the song and adds more impact to the crooning, lonely but passionate vocal performance.
