United States of Being by Pujol

United States of Being by Pujol

I am ashamed to say I am late to the proverbial party when it comes to the Nashville rock sensation that is Pujol.

So what to do when you’re late to the party? Immerse yourself in it as quickly as possible.

I have read many articles and listened to as many songs as my phone can pull. For those of you who are like me and went “who is that?”, do yourself a favor and Google Pujol. Apparently, as you scroll down, you quickly realize we are the only two people who may have not heard of this band.

Daniel Pujol is a Tullahoma native who did what a good portion of my friends in neighboring Manchester did when they graduated high-school…they moved the heck out. Some stopped in Murfreesboro – others Nashville.

The move has served him well. His DIY attitude and hard work has garnered him interviews and articles in several national publications as well as an early stream of his album The United States of Being from Rolling Stone magazine.

Pujol the man is obviously well read and intelligent if you read any of his interviews. He also has a weekly poem/ illustration collaboration he does with his girlfriend called pujols: eggs that appears in the Nashville Scene. Go check out United States of Being by Pujol and support local talent at its finest.
