It’s an all out audio storm from Portland Oregon and it’s going to unleash all its fury on Bonnaroo 2014 in Manchester, TN. It’s Typhoon, an eleven piece band that just flat RoKKs.

Starting down their Soundcloud page, one is instantly struck by the crazy rhythm in the beginning of Young Fathers and the surprises and twists don’t stop there. Arrangements range from fully orchestral to just a drum and a vocal.  It’s one thing for four guys to bash out rock and roll, but this is music that works a band and that’s one of the things that makes it so fun for me.

Whether it’s synth-pop, acoustic traditional, or progressive rock, I don’t know what you call this, but I can’t wait to see it pulled of down on the farm!
