Venus Theory Unleash Invigorating Bass Music On New EP, Nightwalker Pt. 1

Venus Theory-Nightwalker Pt 1

Illinois based bass music duo Venus Theory have delivered a refreshing and quite captivating EP, Nightwalker Pt. 1.

Opening with the mystical and transcendent frequencies of Fire, Venus Theory make it immediately apparent they are on a mission to capture attention with a distinctive, invigorating combination of sounds that penetrate and carry the mind to places beyond this 3D realm.

Afraid To Let Go hauntingly grabs our senses with hypnotizing bass, eerily comforting and melodic layers of synths and a vocal performance which supersedes the thick textures with a reverberating elegance.

Echo presents itself with a East Asian influenced melody that builds into an ambient, trance inducing wave of energy which hits deep down inside and takes us through a potent blend of rhythms, soulful vocals and seamless transitions.

Lay Down drops full force with a fast paced rhythm, powerful vocals, a barrage of dubstep infused heavy synth sounds, and enough energy to wake you up from the deepest of sleep.

Coming down from the intensity of the previous track, Heart Still Beating brings the energy down for a soothing, downtempo but equally powerful blend of sonic elements which paint a cinematic soundscape that is an aptly placed ending to a well crafted and thought out EP.
