The YeahTones Release New Video, What Could I Do

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman August 24, 2016 8:56 am Tagged With: New York City, Rock, United States

The Yeah Tones

The YeahTones have arrived with an unapologetic, in-your-face, rock and roll wall of sound.

Their new single (and accompanying visual treatment) What Could I Do is the perfect display of The YeahTones ability to channel raw, unfiltered emotions through a barrage of rock frequencies.

Get ready to thrash, crash, stage dive, and scream when this sonic assault takes over your being.

At 23 years old, Jake Pinto found himself with a degree in music but at the price of thousands of dollars of debt, plenty of angst toward the world’s injustices, and all that aggravation was eventually going to express itself.

What happened next was the release of all the tension, frustration, and stress in the form of The YeahTones.

Joined by Doug Berns on bass, Dillon Treacy on drums, and Michael Harlen on lead guitar, Jake and friends have created an honest, intense amalgamation of emotions and frequencies which do not compare to any other band I’ve heard in this stylistic space.

What Could I Do and The YeahTones are the perfect soundtrack for anyone who has ever been pushed down and dared to push back.

You can catch the band live in NYC on Monday, August 29th, at Mercury Lounge. If you’re in the area, do not miss this!
