Shame on me for not yet taking a trip up the 99 to catch a Sacramento show with According to Bazooka since the last time I wrote about their music (aka their album The Devil’s in the Details).

Then again, things got really weird…nearly 2 years ago at this point. But getting back to the much more important new music…

According to Bazooka is back with another delightful, energizing, uplifting collection of Retro Pop jams that encapsulate the liberating and creative spirit of some of Northern California’s most refreshing and charismatic musical talent.

The title of this epic jam session is Swanky. And, oh boy, allow me to extend a personal guarantee on how Swanky you’re gonna feel rockin’ to these electrifying leads, unforgettable melodies, feel good vibes and all the benefits that come from experiencing the finest craftsmanship in jazzy, vintage, Folk-Infused-Pop-Rock-n-Roll song creation.

According to Bazooka is a guaranteed crowd pleaser, whether live, on radio, or simply from your favorite playlist. Like I said earlier, shame on me for not attending a show yet!

Favorite track? Damn…that’s a really hard one! Seriously, impossible for me to choose.

Swanky is best enjoyed from the beginning (Memories of Summer) all the way to the finale (Mystery Man). Windows down, volume loud, with a scenic, lonely highway as the backdrop adds even more enjoyment to the listening experience.
