Minneapolis based folk singer/songwriter Sarah Morris is dropping her new album Hearts In Need of Repair on November 17th (2017). India Ramey-Snake Handler

Blasting twin barrels of Americana noire and southern-gothic songwriting, India Ramey fires on all cylinders with her national debut, Snake Handler. Pentecostal churches, broken households, crooked family trees, forgotten pockets of the Deep South, and domestic violence all fill the album’s 10 songs, whose autobiographical lyrics pull from Ramey’s experience as a young girl in […]

The Zenons-Patroniser

Without even choosing a lead single for the latest EP Vacant Seat, Patroniser was chosen by BBC Radio Scotland as “Single of the Week” while The Zenons were being interviewed at the station. I say “The Zenons were” as if it’s a group but it’s actually the moniker of singer/songwriter Kal Turnbull. After putting a […]

Stage Republic-Wailing Walls

Amsterdam based Stage Republic take a new, more intuitive direction with their latest emotion-evoking, cathartic single Wailing Walls. I wrote the song on the night I got terrible news about a good friend. It deals with unfairness and knowing there’ll be loss before it’s loss. It’s something I needed to make. I did all the […]

Wake Child-Kathaleen

I really love this jam. Although my queen goes by a different name, I immediately had to share this song with her. Created in a cabin in the Catskills and infused with nature’s energy and plenty of Earth tones, Kathaleen is the smooth, funky, psychedelic R&B single from the contagious and grooving Wake Child. With […]

As the collective attention span shrinks, Eddie Canyon finds himself searching for meaning within the noise. Reaching into and around his Arkansas roots, Eddie carves a distinctively southern Hip Hop undercurrent in his exploratory approach to music. Weaving tales of battling addiction, thoughts on spirituality, and irreverent social commentary into his lyrics, Eddie aims to intrigue his audience at the least, and at most, leave them with a liberating degree of thoughtfulness. In his own words: “The Matrix is real, but there’s a way out.” Support on Spotify or Bandcamp.
