Awake! Awake!, an alternative rock band from Nashville TN, released their new album Future Fire recently. The beautifully written and performed acoustic album can be downloaded for free from their website. The two members, with voices and a guitar, blend together to create a wonderful harmonies. As a friend once said, “Acoustic versions of songs were made to make you cry.” Not that they’ll be sad tears, but the songs are quite beautiful.
Along with a great album, Awake! Awake! also acoustically covered Queen’s Save Me quite well. The way they translated the rock song to an acoustic song is phenomenal. You can find other of their covers on their youtube channel, and I definitely recommend them!
