October 9th 2011 (5:30 PM CST): Bill Breeze, Truth Clipsy, and Mr. Ahmad Rashad will be dropping into BeatKnockin Radio to discuss a slew of new topics during a new segment called, “HIP HOP TAKE OVER”. In this interview, they will delve into new releases, new websites, new show dates, and the #LIVExDirectTN show going on later tonight. Be sure to tune in to catch the buzz!

First on the docket, Breeze and Truth will be releasing a new single entitled, “Watch Me Playa” (produced by @1SuperFranchise). Trending on Twitter as #WatchMePlaya , the song features crooners PM and Michele Davis. This will be a phenomenal release from their upcoming EP (currently untitled). They anticipate having the EP available this fall and it will feature a collection of individual songs along with collab tracks from both artists. Earlier this month, Clipsy dropped his first album, “The VIP Room” exclusively on MidTNHipHop.

The trio plan to discuss the release of Mr. Ahmad Rashad’s new website, www.pleasesaythemr.com with a new single from his upcoming mixtape. The single is called, “The Prettiest” and it’s a lovely track for the ladies to vibe to. Rashad’s website will have updates on shows, videos, links, music, and more. Be sure to drop in and check it out!

Later in the evening, the artists intend to discuss upcoming shows. First and foremost, they will be promoting the #LivexDirectTN show for later that evening. Hip Hop acts such as 9th Wonder, Ski Beatz, Murs, Freddie Gibbs, Tabi Bonney, Kid Daytona, Open Mic, and many more will be assembled at the Mercy Lounge. The show starts at 7 PM CST.

Twun the Great will be hosting this HIP HOP TAKE OVER of BeatKnockin Radio. Make sure to log onto: www.beatknockin.com tonight at 5:30PM CST for more info on these artists!

As the collective attention span shrinks, Eddie Canyon finds himself searching for meaning within the noise. Reaching into and around his Arkansas roots, Eddie carves a distinctively southern Hip Hop undercurrent in his exploratory approach to music. Weaving tales of battling addiction, thoughts on spirituality, and irreverent social commentary into his lyrics, Eddie aims to intrigue his audience at the least, and at most, leave them with a liberating degree of thoughtfulness. In his own words: “The Matrix is real, but there’s a way out.” Support on Spotify or Bandcamp.
