Billy Grima Releases His Heart With “Picture Of You And Me”

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman November 30, 2015 10:05 am Tagged With: Canada, Country, Pop, Rock

Picture of You and Me by Billy Grima

Billy Grima is an award nominated singer/songwriter based in the Caledon Hills of Ontario, Canada. Born in Australia, Billy found music at a young age and was singing in the church choir by his eighth birthday.

Billy has 3 albums under his belt including I’m Just Standing, A Little Piece Of Heaven and the newest record Sugar & Cream; featuring the production and engineering skills of Pete Swann.

Below you can stream the video for Grima’s single and military tribute “Picture Of You And Me“.

A soulful, pop-rock tune with hints of country, Billy pours out his heart over a beautifully blended set of instruments. The piano primes your heart for the tear jerking slide guitar licks. The background vocals build your emotions as Billy’s polished voice drives home the call to all those we love and miss serving our countries far away from home.

Billy’s ability as a master songcrafter becomes very clear within seconds of playing of this tune. The visuals further drive home the feeling of emptiness, loneliness, and longing for family and friends who aren’t able to simply come home to visit.

“Picture Of You And Me“ goes straight to the heart. If you have family or loved ones serving their countries at a distance, grab a box of tissue; you might need it.
