Talented creatives Kelly Wheeler and Syd Duran are the writing force behind Chainflower‘s new single Brave.

Before Syd joined the band, Kelly had created, arrangement and produced the instrumentation but was unhappy with how the vocals were coming along. Once Kelly and Syd joined forces, the song was finished very quickly. The duo then tapped into the skills of renowned R&B producer Systematik (aka Niyi Adelekan, Sony ATV). Johnny K (aka Johnny Karkazis) (engineer and Grammy nominated producer for Megadeath, Staind, Sevendust) was enlisted for mixing and production.

Brave is a hard rockin’, radio ready single that serves as a message, or an expression, of empowerment and the determination required to never let any person or any thing hold you back. Considering the female front, Brave is a timely anthem arriving just in time to be part of the soundtrack of the growing movement of women empowerment around the globe.
