Chapell Is Soul Man, New Album Now Available

Chapell-Soul Man

Life long music student, lover, creator and lead man of This Is Chapell has arrived with a band of high caliber musicians who have created a soulful, highly engaging, mature alt-rockin’ new project, Soul Man.

Polished, well produced, and sonically appealing to a wide array of listeners across the genre board, This Is Chapell‘s music is something that more mature music listeners will truly appreciate.

Starting off the album with a soul infused arrangement of guitar, electronic accents and beautiful piano, Soul Man slowly builds in energy as layer upon layer of instrumentation and texture weave their way into a sonic tapestry that maintains a certain complexity despite it’s more mellow, minimal nature.

My Baby Loves Me Now hits us with infectious melody as electronics dance and mingle with acoustic instrumentation for an uplifting, memorable and timeless slow jam that takes so many unexpected twists and turns you can’t help but sit back in awe as layer upon layer of sounds overwhelm your senses. Toward the end of the song the energy picks up as we enter an all out anthemic jam including a harmonizing chorus that is guaranteed to have your lighter in hand, flame extended, arm to the sky.

Watercolors immediately builds into an uptempo jam session featuring hard hitting drums, sweet sounding strings, and this retro vibe that feels like you’re driving through the night with windows down, cares to the wind. The instrumentation, the energy and a solid groove join forces to carry us through a listening experience likely to make you hit repeat for another listen.

Ending with invigorating brass lines, sweet sounding synth, a refreshing energy, and beautiful guitar tones, the final track She’s On Fire is just as infectious as it’s previous three counterparts. Wrapping up Soul Man, this track will have you jamming out with your favorite air instrument. Don’t be surprised if you’re left wanting more from This Is Chapell when this fades to silence.

Connect directly with This Is Chapell on the official website.

You can get a preview of Soul Man by connecting on FB and joining the mailing list. The album will not be out until January 2018.

I promise you it’s worth your time and email address. This album and this sound is in a lane all it’s own.
