Charlie Funk, Give Me A Groove

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman May 10, 2016 12:16 pm Tagged With: Funk, New York City, United States

Give Me A Groove-Charlie Funk

Brooklyn based funkmaster Charlie Funk has been the mastermind behind many of the hits coming from True Groove Records. Stepping away from his duties as staff songwriter, Charlie has arrived with his debut, groovin’, funky EP titled Give Me A Groove.

Don’t click play unless you’re ready to get down, get loud, and bust a few moves. That cubicle won’t be able to hold you for long once you start jammin’ this.

Showing his depth on the powerful “Lunch In Babylon” featuring Mike Hampton and Marla Mase, Charlie proves his music is as much about expanding your mental game as it is about having a great time on the dance floor.

I have not come across very many artists releasing Funk of this caliber. Give Me A Groove is a must add to your funky collection of music. This is an EP that stands out in an overflowing crowd of releases.
