I’m always pumped when an artist we’ve covered before comes back with a new project. Feel It! is definitely an album worth getting excited about.

If you prefer your rock and roll gritty and infused with a healthy dose of rockabilly, blues rock and alt-country aesthetics, then Derek Lee Goodreid has your fix. The name of that fix is Feel It!

From the opening track all the way through the albums 11 energetic, infectious jams, listeners are treated to a mood-boostin’, foot-stompin’, adrenaline-pumpin’ barrage of highly enjoyable sounds. The guitar tones are perfect. The rhythms are strong, danceable and guaranteed to make the sturdiest of wall flowers sway their body with the grooves. Derek’s intense delivery and passionate performances will grab your attention and keep you engaged for the album’s entirety.

As far as favorite or noteworthy tracks, I cannot choose one. As a guy who prefers albums, Feel It! is one of those that I recommend turning up to 12 and enjoying from beginning to end. With it’s fast-paced, high energy foundation, one could be quite productive while listening to this music… cleaning, folding laundry, long drives, the possibilities are endless.
