Los Angeles based rocker Eddy Yang‘s new EP, A New City, was inspired by a trip to the Big Apple. In his own words, Eddy shares,

A New City EP was inspired by a trip to NYC, though it was recorded in Los Angeles, my hometown. I remember being inspired and wide-eyed while walking through NYC at night. A New City EP is about the feeling of being young and alive, when the world is still innocent and full of possibilities. It’s also about finding yourself – who you’re meant to be.”

Incorporating electronic drums into a solid rock and roll foundation, Eddy delivers catchy melodies, head nodding rhythms, memorable hooks and a 5-song EP listening experience with enough pop appeal to go down nice and smooth.

A New City (the title track) is probably my favorite song on this 5 track offering but be sure to give the entire EP a spin.
