Frank Palangi interview on G+ and AITP Album

by C Bret Campbell May 29, 2013 8:02 am

Artists in the Plus has had a lot of success with their totally G+ Compilation Album, in this interview we talk with +Frank Palangi of New York about G+ and the recent AITP Compilation Album

How long have you been making music?
since 2006 with this project. 2010 started my public releases with recording in Nashville, TN with the rock band Day of Fire and their producer Rogers Masson on my first EP.

What are some of your inspirations?
My drive, passion for what I love. I write about life and experiences in general. If you can’t connect with what your writing, the audience will pick up on that. Friends, Relationships, Belief and Issues I tend to write about the most.

How long have you been using G+? Tell us about your favorite little quirks of the Plus style.
a few months now. I like idea of a “hangout” and get close friends, and fans to tune in. A close community, yet so far spread apart with people from all over the world.

How did you get involved with Artists in The Plus?
I found their website and filled out a form and things grew from there.

How do you feel about being a part of this album?
Awesome and ROCKIN! Very cool idea to begin with and glad to be apart of the community anytime.

What is your favorite song on it? Why?
I picked I’m Waiting because it’s my first single and favorite track from my 2011 EP. I’ve gotten great feedback on it.

What’s next on your musical horizons?
June 11th releasing a brand-new EP produced by Rob Coates at Labelmix production in Nashville, TN called “I AM READY”. New music videos coming out as well. “Frozen” a single from the record will have a music video and be entered into the 2014 Grammy’s for voting. Playing out this season too.

Anything you’d like to add?
I would like to thank John Voshell for endorsing me and introducing me to google +. All my fans for their support through my journey.

As the collective attention span shrinks, Eddie Canyon finds himself searching for meaning within the noise. Reaching into and around his Arkansas roots, Eddie carves a distinctively southern Hip Hop undercurrent in his exploratory approach to music. Weaving tales of battling addiction, thoughts on spirituality, and irreverent social commentary into his lyrics, Eddie aims to intrigue his audience at the least, and at most, leave them with a liberating degree of thoughtfulness. In his own words: “The Matrix is real, but there’s a way out.” Support on Spotify or Bandcamp.
