Katarina Boudreaux and Sam Tepper (aka /fyo͞oɡ/ ) have one of those stories that assures you this musical union was “meant to be”. The following quote illustrates this statement perfectly,

This is the first collaborative project I have embarked on. Sam walked in on a gig, and we’ve worked together ever since. The three originals are co-written, and it is the first album I have not played keys on (three previous studio albums).”

/fyo͞oɡ/ fuses their distinctive personality and charisma into a groovin’ sound bed of old school jazz, blues, some good old fashioned gospel soul, hints of funk, and a little experimentation for an amalgamation of frequencies you haven’t experienced before.

Think Billie Holliday or Ella Fitzgerald coming out as a duo with Stevie Wonder or Jerry Lee Lewis. If you can imagine that, you might be able to get a slight sense of /fyo͞oɡ/‘s unique blend of musical elements. To really understand what I am trying to say though, you have to dive in head first and let the music take you where it may.
