Gary Douglas Band has returned with a powerful new single and music video titled Deep In The Water (Redeux). This isn’t Gary’s first time gracing these pages, and we’re always excited when has new music to share.

Deep In The Water shares the stories and struggles of Douglas’ legal battle against DuPont chemical company for illegally dumping dangerous chemicals in the Ohio River.

As a trial lawyer for the litigation of this milestone case, Douglas won some record-shattering settlements for communities along the Ohio River Valley in and around Parkersburg, West Virginia. Those settlements resulted in $700 million in punitive damages as well as an agreement by jurors that DuPont had acted with “conscious disregard” when it came to the health and well being of the affected families.

Produced by Anthony Resta (aka AJAX), Deep In The Water features masterful song crafting with an Americana/Folk-Rock foundation. Soaring lead guitar lines, driving acoustic rhythms and Gary’s soulful vocal performance come together for a potent, powerful, soul stirring single.
