Through the ebb and flow of Answer To Influence‘s six songs, we are taken on ride through Greg Maechling’s refreshing alternative folk-infused rock which explores a wide variety of instrumentation guaranteeing a unique listening experience.

From intense build ups to calm and relaxing releases, Greg really knows how to use his voice and his compositions to deliver memorable music that has depth and impact.

If you’ve ever heard So Cal pysch/surf rock band Particle Wave, Greg is the frontman for that project!

Maechling teamed up with multi-talented veteran producer and instrumentalist Nick Luca (Iron & Wine, Calexico, Neko Case). Drums and percussion were designed and performed by the ineffable Joe Westerlund (Megafaun, Califone, Grandma Sparrow). Tyler Shields headed up the engineering at New Monkey Studios in Van Nuys, CA.
