Inspired by a whirlwind summer fling with a visitor from the UK, the track channels heartbreak, longing, and empowerment into one punchy, passionate release.

“I spent five days with someone and genuinely thought we could make it work after he went back to the UK,” Avalon shares. “I wanted to write a song that told the story as it was while also telling my story of what I wanted, which was for him to come crawling back to me on his hands and knees, begging for me.”

Written and produced alongside Jesse Maxwell – whom Avalon met by chance at a birthday dinner where he happened to be performing – “beg for me” is both intensely personal and broadly relatable.
