How To View Your Google+ Stream In Chronological Order

by Joshua (J.Smo) Smotherman January 28, 2013 9:01 pm

A lot of people are being annoyed by the fact older posts in our Google+ home streams move back to the top when new comments are made on those older posts. It definitely annoys me.

So how do you change it?

Google does not let you change how your home feed appears. Check out this discussion from Google’s forums.

After digging around the interwebs all day, I came up with my own solution.

You can apply this solution in 30 seconds or less.

Here is how.

1. View your circles

Click Circles on the left-side menu to view your circles.

Go to your circles
click Circles to view all your contacts on Google+

2. Select All Contacts

Make sure Your Circles is selected. Click on Actions (drop-down menu appears). Choose Select All.

Select All Contacts and Create a New Circle
make sure Your Circles is selected. click Actions to view the drop-down menu, then choose Select All. Drag your contacts into a new circle to view your “Home” stream in chronological order.

3. Drag them into a new circle

After selecting all of your contacts, simply drag them down into Drop here to create a circle, label it, and you are finished.

Create a new circle with all of your contacts
Drag all your contacts into a new Circle to view your “Home” stream in chronological order.

4. View your new Circle’s stream

When you view the stream of your new Circle, you should see posts from all your contacts in chronological order.

Have a better idea? Please, share in the comments.

You can also send Feedback to Google, but that does not solve the issue.
